A Ray Of Hope Self-help Project
CURRENT (CBO) LICENSE
Our Community Based Organization also known as (CBO) programs are designed to work with the Ministry of Labour, Social Services and Social Security Departments of the Republic of Kenya to create a better balance between the poor and the government. A Ray of Hope is a 501(c3) Nonprofit Religious Corporation in existence since 1998 and was incorporated in 2002, and seeks through it licenses and ministries to bring the diaspora together in the Republic of Kenya. The A Ray of Hope Self-help program in Bungoma, allows an individual, family or community at large, to learn skills or trade through training, equipping and Christian education. Our presence creates an entrepreneurial attitude, motivation and hope for them to become self sufficient concerning finances, health, shelter, parenting, job security, and more, with a developed skill set in hand. Our ongoing longterm goal is to purchase 30 acres of land, and place a fully functional facility for (housing, food, school, healthcare, transformational life skills, and farming). The facility will allow the volunteer staff to receive the increase of orphaned children and displaced families referred to us by the Social Service department, to give individuals or families a chance to live productive lives while combating disease, stress and domestic violence caused by lack. Our orphanage in Kitale, Kenya will merge with Bungoma, and all services will be housed under one roof. Our short term goals are reached monthly through the consistent support of Dr. Danette M. Verchér helping with the rental of shared facilities and makeshift setting as seen below. She is an advocate for the wealth, health shelter, feeding and education of the communities she serves whether domestic or foreign. She has worked with the social service agencies of the Trans-Nzoia district and the Republic of Kenya since 2006. With a brief explanation, Dr. Verchér needs donors like you in order to continue the mission and vision to reach all the goals in place, which will give a community of orphaned and displaced people a new lease on life, shelter, happiness, education, health care and more. Be assured that our volunteer caretakers are screened by A Ray of Hope, and submitted to the Department of Ministry and Social Services for verification as a safety precaution against any further violence against the residents of this community.
Thank you in advance for being compelled to embrace our vision and mission to do a greater good. Through your donation it continues our purpose. Please feel free to contact us below or call (209) 589-2071 or (209) 430-2500.
